Joy Taylor and Taylor Rooks are ready to get “two personal”

Sports reporters and influential figures Joy Taylor and Taylor Rooks are preparing to get personal in their latest joint project.

According to Complex, the podcast Two Personal will highlight topics beyond sports, touching on mental health, discrimination, and overall life and societal issues every Wednesday starting March 6.

Instead of their usual professional settings, listeners will hear the friends chat more casually. Taylor and Rooks released the podcast deets on February 22, which gained almost instant support from social media users on various platforms.

Photos from a promotional shoot of the pair were shared on socials as well as the official podcast cover. There’s also an Instagram with the username “Two Personal Show,” where official content snippets of the podcast will live.

Joy Taylor and Taylor Rooks are no strangers to using their platforms to spread awareness about different topics. This podcast will provide two times the realness, something fans are eager to engage with.

Their ability to get guests to reveal more about themselves and their emotions without being pushy is a gift.

Rooks told Complex that Two Personal gives the “sisters in sports” a chance to share their private thoughts with listeners.

“This show is a space for us to be honest about our experiences, our emotions, and the way we view the world.

“There is definitely more to us than what we have allowed the public to see…”

As social media users flooded the women’s personal accounts and podcast’s Instagram with support, it’s safe to say March 6 will be “Taylor Day.”
