The multi-hyphenated songstress stood out while a member of Fifth Harmony and has released hit after hit since the group’s departure.
From “Motivation” to “Waves,” “Fair,” and “Wild Side,” fans have been fed. However, they’ve always asked, “Where’s the damn album?” eager for Normani to release her debut studio project. And the wait is officially over.
Actually, we still have to wait, but details have been released, and we’re just collecting our coins to support Dopamine when it drops!
Normani’s Dopamine announcement sent social media into a frenzy
Normani didn’t know the power she held because her album announcement went viral instantly.
On February 21, the “Wild Side” singer quoted a 2018 tweet that reads, “I have my album title y’all.” The quote was simply a link to a website with the domain “WheresTheDamnAlbum.”
The Tweet she posted on the social platform on June 30, 2018, proves that Normani’s debut album is long-awaited.
No one truly knows the hold-up; there’s only been speculation. But we know that Normani has been working tirelessly to provide her fans with quality work.
And while she released singles here and there, Normani was still active in the industry. She gained partnerships, collaborated with other artists as a feature, and lived as she should have.
Now it’s time for her to take over with Dopamine, a project we know will top the charts for weeks.
The official release date hasn’t been shared, but in 2024, we’re getting fed with music from the best of the best.
