LSU Basketball star Angel Reese is having a Hall of Fame career already—and she hasn’t even started her WNBA journey yet. At only 21 years old, the college basketball standout has snagged major deals with various brands, but her most recent partnership with Reebok is making history.

On October 17, Reebok announced that Reese is their first major NIL signing under the direction of the brand’s newly-appointed President of Basketball and NBA legend, Shaquille O’Neal (Shaq).

The women’s college basketball star is expected to be the face of Reebok lifestyle, fashion and performance product stories beginning Fall 2023. In a press release, Reese expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with her mentors and inspire people to be authentic.

“It means the world to me that they trust in me to extend their legacy to a new generation. Together, I think we have a great opportunity to do things differently, to inspire people to explore and express themselves unapologetically, and to show them how to look and feel good while doing it,” she said.

O’Neal described Reese as the “GOAT” and praised her impact and social influence on women’s basketball.

“Angel is shaking up the space, just like Reebok has done all along. I’m proud to welcome Angel into the Reebok family and can’t wait to see how she will bring the brand’s legacy to the next generation,” he said.

As a champion and MVP, Reese has made a massive contribution to the evolution of women’s basketball. This historic deal with Reebok is paving the way for young girls and teen athletes with dreams of gliding across the court.

Many will refer to the partnership when making decisions and not take “no” for an answer. They’ll be more unapologetic, competitive and confident—all traits that Reese showcases.
