Martin Lawrence is set to go on his first comedy tour in almost a decade.
On Wednesday, the comedian and actor announced he will hit the stage with special guests for his “Y’all Know What It Is Tour.” Tickets go on sale May 17, but Lawrence’s “day ones” get a special treat.
On May 15, they’ll get first dibs by using the password “MARTYMAR.” The Nineties and early 2000s superstar’s last comedy tour was in 2016. Fans have been waiting for the comic to grace the stage again, and now they have their wish!
Martin Lawrence is also bringing popular up-and-coming comedians with him to tour North America for the 2024-2025 shows.
Some special guests include Desi Banks, DC Young Fly, Loni Love, B Simone, Jess Hilarious, Chico Bean, and Mojo Brookzz. More include vets Deon Cole, Adele Givens, Ms. Pat, Gary Owen, and Rickey Smiley.
What cities will Martin Lawrence visit?
The Martin star is set to snag laughs in over thirty cities nationwide. “Y’all Know What It Is” kicks off in Chandler, Arizona, on July 20. Then, it’ll make its way to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Jackson, Mississippi, Detroit, and more.
Lawrence and some special guests will grace Chicago‘s Credit Union 1 Arena in March 2025.
The tour announcement comes as fans prepare for Bad Boys 4, which will hit theaters on June 7. The fourth installment of Lawrence’s film series with Will Smith continues their hilarious cop adventures in a nostalgic fashion.
