Normani has it all; she’s a great singer, dancer, and overall exceptional performer. Not only was her debut album, Dopamine, great, but her previous singles were good too.
The triple threat has branched out to many genres, not only being an R&B princess, but also a rising Pop star. There’s just one problem: her songs aren’t living on the Hot 100 chart as they should. Just by listening to her debut project and collaborations, you can see the effort the artist puts into her music.
People complain that “R&B is dead” (which it isn’t) or they say “bring back real artists,” but aren’t supporting the ones already in the industry. Normani deserves to be a star; here are a few songs that should’ve topped the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
NOTE: These singles may have charted on the R&B chart, but not on the U.S. Hot 100 chart. I’m excluding “Wild Side” and her hit collabs to focus on songs that deserved more attention.
