Cardi B’s Little Miss Drama Tour has taken over my “For You” page on TikTok. I see videos of her dancing, going into the crowd, and commentary breaks. It’s not just a concert, it’s a literal party with Cardi.
Despite massive success from her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, several no. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits, a Grammy, and a spot on the best-selling female rappers list, Cardi B has not headlined her own arena tour until now.
Little Miss Drama is something fans have been waiting for. The announcement came around the same time as news of her pregnancy, and everyone wondered if it would still happen. Cardi assured fans that once she had her fourth child, she would work tirelessly to make this tour special.
This tour is for the fans but also for Cardi
She’s delivering what she promised. The opening show on February 11 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, amazed everyone. I wasn’t there in person, but I could feel the excitement from Cardi and her fans just by watching TikTok videos. Cardi doesn’t just stay in one spot or sit on a couch and rap. She has storytelling visuals, dancing, and the energy fans hope for when they spend their hard-earned money on tickets.
In every video I watch, the rapper is her usual funny and upbeat self, making fans feel like they’re hanging out with a friend instead of watching a superstar prove she deserves to be taken seriously. There were a few mishaps during the first shows, and some people said Cardi and her team seemed unorganized or that the tour “was a mess.”
I’ve also seen many people come to her defense, saying this was expected since it is her first major tour, and I agree. Even top artists have had issues during performances, with audio or wardrobe malfunctions.
We might put these people on pedestals because of their status, but this is real life and mistakes are inevitable.

On Cardi B’s song “I Do” featuring SZA, she says, “They said by now that I’ll be finished, hard to tell (I can tell)/ My little 15 minutes lasting long as h*ll, huh?”
Years later, it’s safe to say that she’s here to stay (sorry, non Cardi B fans). And she just keeps setting and selling records. Recently, she became the first female rapper to sell out two shows (consecutive nights) at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
