Lifetime has an all-new movie franchise, and watching them all will be very tempting.
On March 19, 2025, the network announced that Tasha Smith and Keri Hilson would star in its Temptations franchise from Derrick Williams and Adriane Hopper Williams, executive producers for DNA Media Group. The movie franchise will include two stories: Desire: A Temptations Story and Fame: A Temptations Story.
Multitalented actress and director Tasha Smith will not only star in Desire: A Temptations Story but also serve as its executive producer. NAACP Image Award winner Adrian Holmes will also produce.
Inspired by the success of the Seven Deadly Sins movies, Lifetime looks forward to the same reaction with the new franchise.
Desire: A Temptations Story will premiere on Saturday, April 19 at 8P | 7C, and Fame: A Temptations Story will follow a week later on Saturday, April 26 at 8P | 7C on Lifetime.
