I did a life cleanse, and it turned out to be the best decision I’ve made. I feel so much lighter, and I catch myself smiling more often. If you also need a refresher, I get it.
A few months ago, I realized that when you work to avoid toxicity, some people will try to ruin that. Putting your happiness first isn’t a crime, and anyone who can’t accept that you’re the main character in your life needs to be cut off.
It can be tough, but letting go is necessary.
Hey, Friend. Let’s Chat: Life Cleanse Edition
Now is a good time to clear out anything or anyone that brings you down. Social media often makes it seem normal to struggle endlessly with people you care about. While hard times are part of life, it’s important to know your limits. We can only handle so much before it starts to affect our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Cleansing should be mandatory
While it can be hard to distance ourselves from familiar people, some relationships are simply too toxic. It’s important to set boundaries and remove negative influences when needed.
Let’s create the perfect life cleanse
Set clear boundaries and stick to them. Focus on what helps you grow. The right people will understand, and others may step back. Also, stop doing things you don’t enjoy just to make others happy. Trying to please everyone often holds us back the most.
Surround yourself with people who want more out of life
We should let go of this idea that we don’t need new friends. Over time, we meet new people and sometimes connect with them even more than with old ones. Opening up to someone new can be hard, but it’s often worth the risk.
Now that we had this talk, go out and live.
